Had a wonderful day. Bernie is my tour guide and rightly so he is very proud of his heritage.
You cannot begin to imagine how unspoilt (and f...ing freezing) this place is.
We went all over the island and the island cattle are incredibly fluffy and hairy... pics to follow.
We went to a tiny weeny whisky distillery and I bought Roly bottle number 86 of his 1st ever 1000 ever bottles. A great experience.
I am so glad I came. The lack of cell phone signal has really just added to the enjoyment as when a signal appears I grab the phone like a demented drug addict.

hi there, took time out to read your masterpieces....hillarious and I can picture your adventures....sorry for silence ...the last two weeks seem to be one BLUR.. a good friend of mine has always suggested I "try and slow down to a blur" but even blur speed is too tricky to decifer these days.... club champs was lots of fun (not golf - the verandah afterwards)...but I've realised that whilst my golf should have been priority #1, mix in the travelling, assisting with co-ordination of champs and then the gremlins of work - there is little space to concentrate and play good golf !! So bring on the Matchplay !! I'm back in durbs this week (still have not put my toes into the warm ocean this year) but g8 to see that planes may in fact land as planned !! take care and look forward to more adventure news !! xx (hellos to the tour guides - we are missing you)
