My new friend Patrick came through to Antalya so that we could be tourists together.
The highlight was a visit to the Mosque. When the photos are working again I will add a pic or 2. They gave me a sarong type garment to cover my legs and another to cover my head. It was wonderful inside. The floor is beautifully carpeted. No shoes are permitted. It was peaceful and a few worshippers were praying. A very special moment.
We walked all through the Old Town of Antalya and had a very nice lunch... strange pushy waiter, but the food was yummy.
Bought lots of Turkish delight (too sweet for me) to take home and some divine little Turkish Slippers for Jorja (my friend Kerri's daughter).
A lovely day and poor Patrick had a 2 hour bus journey back to SIDE (pronounced Seeday). So Patrick, it was good to meet you and thank you for making that bus journey to Antalya. I will continue to practice and learn French.
Had a lovely quiet supper (overlooked by the chef!).

A very nice day ,learning about South African food mmmm and you aren't so mad!
