Day 1 - The Arrival
I felt a bit odd arriving in Turkey so late at night and on my own. It was raining and dark and I was more than apprehensive because I couldn't find my shuttle. Finally found the guy and realised I was his only passenger!.. We speed away in to Antalya and all the while he was driving and texting on his phone. It was raining, dark and I was being driven by a madman. I have to be honest and say that all sorts passed through my mind! "He could drive anywhere", "what if he's not really a shuttle guy?" I kept my cell phone close at hand - not that anyone could have come to save me. We arrived in the Old City of Antalya. The roads are so narrow and cobbled... You get the picture?? Anyway, we arrived, I was alive and had not been whisked away for the Turkish Slave Trade!
Hotel Aspen was very "Turkish". The receptionist - a guy looked at me suspiciously and all he said was "You are alone"??? Boy, did I feel alone right then. My room was tiny but pleasant. I felt very lonely, very alone and very scared..... (oh, and did I mention just a little bit stupid for travelling all the way to Turkey on my own? Silly, stupid Menopausal woman.

What next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
