Spirits in Stornoway

Yesterday was the most amazing day of simply doing nothing...
Eating, Reading, talking, it was wonderful. The weather is incredible as it changes so quickly. The news is that I am definately hearing spirits talk in this house. The first night I thought it was Christine and David talking quietly in to the night (Helens sister and brother in law). But it isn't. The adults voices mumble and chat all through the night!!
Woke this morning to beautiful sunshine... walked up the hill to pick up a cell phone signal.. beautiful truly (not the signal, the view!) When gmail is fixed I will email you all some photos. I am feeling so mellow... it is lovely. Going to have a cooked brekky including the infamous black pudding. Tomorrow I am back to London via Edinburgh this time.
Had a great laugh this morning when my daughter emailed me to say they had had a flood in the room I was sleeping in and some of my shoes were ruined (aaaaagh, not the shoes). Turned out it was an April Fool and she got me hook, line and sinker...
